i really  want a prosthetic with a perineum because i dont like the idea of having a dick and balls with other genitalia behind it which could be seen at some angles. which is why i really want to make my own because no one makes one with a perineum. also no one makes a dick with a realistic scrotum. just wanted to vent.

I wondered if I was the only one who felt like that.  I also want a prosthetic that "looks right" from all angles.  But I also realize it's pretty much impossible to do so.  Which makes me want bottom surgery even more.  I feel frustration, man.

I always assumed the scrotum was "unrealistic" for the purpose of covering up whats behind it. imo they always seem to make the scrotum rather large but I assumed that was why.

still totally agree the packy industry could use a lot of improvements.

how would you pee if you made that?

That was my first question as well.  That's why I said it would be nearly impossible.  Unless it had some type of built in stp device and didn't require movement to position it correctly...

idk stp or i was wondering if maybe you could insert a catheter tube but not into your bladder just to extend your urethra.

if there was an STP that could do that, I would LOVE it.  but, idk, there might be a risk for infection.

It would be great if the catheter idea would work.   But the way catheters work is that you insert them into your urethra and then gravity takes over and the pee just flows into a bag.  If you did this with a STP, you would constantly be dripping with pee. Plus the increase in infections would go up dramatically.

not to mention it hurts like hell. And if you insert a cath every day then your urethra will be so damaged that you will suffer from Urinary Incontinence for the rest of your life and any future cathertizations will need to be an external cath because your urethra would no longer be able to accept the internal ones.

Sorry but I don't think that's entirely true.  There are many people that require daily intermittent catheterization and they don't have to switch to an external catheter.  Especially considering the choices are severely limited as far as external caths and AFAB anatomy goes.

But yes, infection would be the biggest problem with that plan.

only because you stick it all the way into your bladder bypassing the muscles in your urethra that keep the pee in your bladder. so hypothetically if you could just stick it into your urethra then the pee would stay in hypothetically.

also i was thinking  if you had  a foley catheter but clipped it so it wouldnt leak and then squeeze the clip through the packer to release the pee when you want but that could be dangerous if you dont go enough.

ive done research, and thinking.

What I would be worried about here would be vaginal fungi or whatever it's called in english if you cover it with non-breathable plastics/silicone like that. That's why people with female parts are recommended to not wear really tight underwear too much, or leather/latex.

Vaginal fungi? Sounds terrible.

Inflection is a major problem with any catheter and someone with female type lower parts is even more likely to get an inflection when using one.  I would like to stand to pee as much as any FTM would but I don't think the constant use of a catheter is the way to go.
