Sigh. I have almost given up trying to contact the admins.
I'd like to fix my old account email addy.

Can the forum Admin contact me?

How do I find this area?

Group membership can be requested in the Profile section under Modify Profile - Group Membership.

Julie, it is in the "Just For Us" section and the name of the board is simply called "Post-Ops".  I'm not sure if your post-count affects the visibility of these areas or not, but it's possible there is a minimum count to be able to see it.

Thanks. I am trying to get my old account repaired so I can revert back
Account wise, not.... Never mind  :)

Hows the spring in Manly?

I applied for membership in "post-op" and it seems I have it in my membership list now (said pending earlier). However, there is no forum section called "Just For Us" anywhere that I can find either :(
Is this "just for us" supposed to show up in the list of forums, just like "transsexual talk" or something like that?

I don't particularly want to make lots of posts about nothing to be able to get in, and post-op issues is pretty much the only thing where I have something to contribute (and to learn for that matter).

Hi Thriss,

There is a main category called "Community Conversation" (the second category, just under News and Information").  The first forum in the Community Conversation category is "Just For Us".  There is a sub-forum in "Just For Us" called "Post-Ops".

May I be added to the Post-Ops forum? Thank you.

Thank you, at least now I know where it is supposed to be. The first forum under Community Conversation is Transgender Talk in my list and a search for "just for us" on the main forum page results in nothing :) It must be related to my number of posts or something. I bet it solves itself if I start posting instead of reading :)

Um, you posted this in the post-op forum like it was a fact to get access to a private area meant for post-ops. How did your surgery go? You should be recovering and dilating now...

me telling you the day I have surgery and me telling you exactly when I am dilating is none of your concern nor is it your business. Only my closest friends and family knows of my medical history. You are not on that list.

And smiting me over it will not force me to put you on that list.

Its everyones business in the post-op forum since this is where you posted it.

It's actually whoever's business she wants it to be.

Nice try, though.

Well, well still sticky stuff as ever there is...

This forum -post-op- is VERY non active so far, still.

Seems we [post-ops] still get our kicks on route 66, the main forum, like: "Saturday night is good for fighting..." hey ;-)

There ARE some post-op issues though, that seem in a better place there, rather then in the main accessable -Post Operative Life- one.

My 2 cents on that item,

Your quote speaks for itself. 5 weeks... It was a statement and question directed at post-ops hence my response.

I for one dont believe the statement is true. Why come into this forum and post then?

Valerie.  Love you to death, but people are allowed to post whatever they feel comfortable posting and keep the rest personal.

Valerie, trust me. I am not going to lose sleep tonight if you believe me or not. It's not one of those things I worry about.

This forum, called Post-op Life, is meant for those bleeding, hurting, in pain, recovering, scared, needing support. Please do not post here unless you are going through that or are supporting those that are. That goes for everyone. It is disrespectful.

Out of respect for those of us going through or have gone through that keep your posts in the other forums.

Valerie, I can understand the fascination with other people's vaginas.  I find them to be pretty darn cool, personally.  That doesn't mean you can call it disrespectful when they don't want to bring up what is entirely their business.
