Hello! I'm new here, obviously.. I am not transgendered, but the boy who just moved in with me is (my roomie, not boyfriend).. He's very cool, but I feel terrible for him.. He has a 48" bust, E-cup, and I just can't find a chest binder that would fit him! His 'birthday' is in a few months and I'd love to surprise him with it.. The boy wraps with ciran wrap, and it's so painful for him. He can't use gauze (too much give) or tenser bandages (they tighten too much!). I checked mango and stuff, but even their extra large wouldn't fit his bust.. He's slightly heavier, but I know he'd be so happy if I surprised him with it! Mango is expensive but I've got a decent job and I can save up.. I'd love mango, and I've already e-mailed them to see if they can do custom (I'm willing to pay extra..). Please help me out.. He's got such a big bust that it's painful for him to bind like other FtMs, so I'd love to help him out. Any links, suggestions, I would be so grateful for. Thanks!

I've yet to start actually binding regularly, but I can understand the problem. I'm a 40/42DD myself. Ace bandages are too giving for me, and I have heard that siran wrap can cause chafing. I've been looking into getting one of these: http://www.titlenine.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=2172&itemType=PRODUCT&iProductID=2172 You might have to talk to them about custom making one for your friend though. I doubt they have one that would fit a 48. That binder is supposed to be super good, but it's a bit pricey, thus why I haven't gotten one yet. I have the money, but haven't yet gotten up the courage to shell it out for something I'm unsure will work the way I want.

From the images it looks like it will still leave a bit of curve, but I think if you add a bit of gauze or bandage over top, or maybe even under it, it should work well enough. Those of us that are heavy set seem to have a rough go at binding. I either still have small, noticable breasts, or look to be overly fat/chunky due to the sheer amount of material needed to even things out.
