"ma'am" what a despicable, terrible, no good word, Its used for old ladies! I got called ma'am at work a few times by young children, and it was super annoying..so i cut my hair lol

Even if I was a woman, I wouldn't want to be called ma'am, not in my twenties!

Haha, I got called "ma'am" by a cop the other night and it annoyed me so much. Especially since I'd clearly passed at first... he'd called me over like "Hang on, bro" and then asked what I'd been up to — there were loads of drunk sports fans causing trouble in town and a lot of cops wandering around and pulling up young men and asking them questions. He asked a couple of boring questions, then came the dreaded "Have a good night, ma'am." >:( Stupid voice!

I also find it really hard to accept compliments when they involve words like "cute" or "beautiful" or other fairly feminine words. I don't care if people are complimenting my appearance, all I hear is "You're a girly girl girl girl and you don't pass."

Cute, cutie, sweetie, girly, beautiful, lass, lassy, lady, missy (call me missy and your dead, so dead)

Don't call me Big Guy, Hagrid, or Ralph. Granted I only get Big Guy and Ralph (my name's NOT Ralph by the way) now, but I still don't like it >_>.

Also don't call me a "man" or say I'm a "man" now. Can't you just say adult? Yeesh.

I love words like honey, dear, babe and all that - it saves me a lot of time I would have to spend in remembering people's names when they really don't matter to me at all.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

I think that pet names in general are odd, but the only things that actually piss me off are baby and Kimmy.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

A blah blog

I love being called honey, sweetie, cutie. As was mentioned earlier, growing up in the south makes it seem not so gendered.

Lol I heard someone say "Felix, she..." the other day and that just kinda pissed me off. Not cool.

Ma'am hurts my self-esteem. I've had the experience of passing at first and then not passing after closer interaction, and that makes my blood run cold. Ick.  :'(

Also, I know that "bitch" gets used for males sometimes too, but I was squabbling with a friend the other day and he called me that, and it felt pretty gendered. So I don't want anybody calling me that.

my brother called me a bitch once (before it became trendy to call guys that too) and I was so pised off, but then he called me 'son of a bitch' before i even transitioned and i remember being so happy.

Cute. The one compliment I can't take.

You are so intelligent, it must be fantastic to understand those things.

I'm not
I don't
What I have I work damn hard for.
I remember stuff 'cos I read it 50 times and understand it.
I'm not lazy.
Don't place yourself in my shoes. You would not like it.

I'm as cute as hell. I don't mind being called cute, gorgeous, sweeties or any of those fem terms. But don't do it in a lecture talk or I'll rip your bum off and graft it to your lips. But with a smile.

hun, sweetie, whatever is all good depending the persons motivations. My neighbor would call a rabid chainsaw wielding racoon "Sweetie" so my chances of dodging "sweet-ums" is nonexistant. Even the rare gender pronoun slips I can shrug off without much thought.

Mandy irks me.
Calling me Mandy flips my bitch switch faster than anything in the universe.

I gets pretty annoyed when people call me, "Sweety, cuteiiii, cute", and so on.
its okay once in a while but if someone say,
"hey sweety, you look cute," "so sweety how are you today, you look so cute"
then I feel like answering with "DONT CALL ME CUTE OR I WILL KILL YOUR!!!" XO

what do people call you
who really makes you annoying at times?

You reminded me of someone at work who calls me sweety all the time. She's always giving me compliments. But I know deep down she's just a fake ass, two-faced, bitch.

I take compliments from girls with a grain of salt.

Now compliments from guys...those mean something.

Oh guys can compliment me all day long. I like them to feed my ego.

My name.

I've no idea what they might call me behind my back.

Quotewho really makes you annoying at times?

I don't care what I might be called, positive or negative. It's meaningless to me unless it comes from someone close.

I hate being called "lady".
I also got quite tired of being called Harry Potter by strangers in the street.
I'm not very fond of being called "Doc" at the hospital, it makes me think of Bugs Bunny or that you are too lazy to learn my last name, or say the full word, or you want to sound cool.

Either I am really behind on the times and Harry Potter means something, or that one is oddly specific...
