Lynchburg, VA - A few weeks ago, we told you about a local transgender woman who's trying to spread awareness.

On Saturday night, some members of the Free Women Society met for the very first time publicly in Lynchburg.

And right at the start leaders spelled out their goals including educating the public about transgender issues.
