Hey for all you guys who's voices are starting to drop, I was wondering exactly what it feels like? I am a bit concerned that it'll feel like having a really bad cold. Also I sing, will I still "able" to sing using my guy voice?

emil: I am going with what most others have said and I'm going to say it was a placebo effect
if you pratice but you voice will break so it will be harder to sing, somethimes very hard sometimes more easy,
and you might sing diffrently and of corse it will sound diffrent as well..

emil; as hearing my voice I noticed a chance around 3 mounth but to feel it it went pretty quickly, had my guitar and played alot of songs by the time and in a week or 2 I started to feel how the songs got harder to sing and some deep tones more easy to get.

I had some noticeable change after about 2 weeks, enough for others to notice. But I will note that it was still within my previous range, just on the low end, so that might have been placebo effect as well. After that I was gradually able to reach deeper notes than before, and my speaking voice started to change in more ways than depth - resonance, maybe. I retained my upper range for maybe 2 months, with some effort... then I stopped trying for a few days and it was gone.

I didn't feel anything at all different with my throat, except when trying to reach higher notes. Then I felt a tightness that increased the higher I tried to reach.
