How long after surgery were you able to get back on a motorcycle?
I ride sport bikes and one thing I was wondering is, when you don't have boy bits anymore, does it change the way you ride? I would think that it would be better with seating positions, like on sport bikes the boy parts affect the way I sit on bike because a bump or a quick stop could cause some pain.

depending on how much pulling and pushing the surgeon has to do to give you the depth you decide on you'll find your perinuem swollen to the point it slike sitting on a painful golf ball for some weeks  and squashing it flat on a bike might not be the best idea for getting a nice soft open vagina.
if the sports bike has a very narrow seat it will press very nicely on your new bits so be careful.

I figure I'm going to have to take a break from riding for a bit after surgery. A painful golf ball on a vibrating bike doesnt sound like any sort of fun.

Take the MSF course if it's offered in your area. It's a two day class and if you have your motorcycle permit, once you pass you get your license. You learn what you need to know to ride safely, the use of proper safety gear and how to operate the bike. I took the course about 4 years ago, was never on a motorcycle before that with the exception of a scooter and now I do track days and ride about 15000 mike a year.

I'm looking for a used Ducati 1098 or 1198 for next year. I rented a 1098 in Vegas last year and went through death valley and the valley of fire. It was amazing. I want to make it out to California next year and ride mullholland drive.

Michelle666 sounds like fun the runs you have done.  But Mullholand, to much traffic now to really have fun.  I used to go to the rock house all the time (over rated.) However enjoy because you only live once. yah, I am look at two bikes now first the Suzuki GSX-R1000 RAD RIDE!!!! Next Kawasaki ZX-6r loving it  (leaning toward the kawi) ?

I once raced at Laguna Seca in Monterey;this was no open days for the public. Maybe one day before I get old and broken down we could race there for fun! (I know you'll win no more Kenny Roberts for me )

Can't believe I missed this thread!  That's Suzi my 2001 GSXR-1000 in the photo.  Full Akrapovic system, Power Commander ECI, 750 velocity stacks, and apparently tuned by PTR, one of the country's top race shops. Only 6000 miles on the clock too, for AUD$7500.  Nice.  There is also a Vespa GTS 300 just out of shot.

Currently I am being tempted by "The Dark Side";  yes, a Harley-Davidson!  I am considering putting the scooter in on an 883 Sportster Iron for around town. If the weather holds I plan on a test ride tomorrow, and think about it over the weekend.

Last weekend, on a ride on Suzi I realised that the vibes were quite pleasant with the undercarriage fully retracted, so I am rather looking forward to seeing what the sensation will be post-op!   Will have to see if I can find my old air-seat.

How was 'The Corkscrew' at Laguna Seca, Plague?  I watched Jeremy Clarkson on BBC Top Gear trying to get through there in a Honda NSX race car a while ago. Looked pretty extreme.

I somehow missed that Top Gear, I don't remember Clarkson in an NSX. Now, I'm going to have to re-watch them all.

I think it was the last episode of a series, to mark the end of Honda making them, whenever that was.

Hmmm, I have them all of them since the first series, when they had that chubby fellow instead of James May. I'm going to have to figure out which episode that is.

By the way, nice bike! You'll probably be bored on a sportster. I did a demo ride of one and going to that from a ducati is like going from a Ferrari to a Kia.
