If you posted something offensive, insulting, out of line, etc and get a smite, accept your error and move on. Don't smite the person just to get back. It makes you look very childish and immature. GROW THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!

Jeez, there seems to be a lot of animosity going on around the forum lately. 

Vengeance has no place in the heart. It is an invader, and salts the fertile plain.

Do as a few others (including myself) have said they do, ignore the thing unless you find a positive post worthy of commendation.

It would also be infinitely more effective to take up the issue via PM.
