Lol ok guys like the question asks: Would you rather be really pretty like perfectly feminine body & face but have a penis or would you rather have a fully functioning vagina but be extremely masculine looking?

A no-brainer for me, I would much, much rather pick the "gorgeous" option. Why? Because then I'd only be dysphoric about one thing, if I were the latter everything else would bother me except for that one thing

Reality is different, though. I'm masculine *and* fugly. ;D

As I don't like today method of SRS and believe in better option in near future I have easy choice
And also when I feel fine most time, because I don't feel that thing and have imaginary vagina

I voted neither, because I don't want to be "a ts".

You can be as pretty as you want, but if people still see you as "a ts", then it doesn't really matter how pretty you are, you will still be an outsider.

Re: Joyce

The two choices are not mutually exclusive and are totally unrelated.  It's like asking if you'd like to drive a red car or if you'd rather drive a Ford...

The terrible, awful, mind-consuming anxiety of being transgender can be cured completely through GCS.  Nearly every post-op will tell you that the first thing on their mind when they came out of surgery was an incredible sense of calm and well-being in their head.

Having been there myself, I cannot believe the change in my brain from pre-op to post-op.  GCS is not nearly so much as what's in your panties as it is what's in your brain.  I can now sit and think of nothing if I want to, I am not obsessed with trans issues any longer.  After a life time of anxiety over gender, I am now just another woman, doing what women do.

My body is also changing more since GCS.  I'm a very happy girl.

So, to answer your question, I got both after GCS.  I feel wonderful and I'm looking better every day...

Ford! But it better be a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, oh yeah! Sorry , yeah that was totally unrelated.

Anyways back on track,
I know we would all like to have our cake and eat it, but if those where my only two choices I'd rather be really pretty like perfectly feminine body & face but have a penis, besides no one needs to know what's in my panties but me, my SO and my docter.  :o
Don't judge a book by its cover! My lifes been like a country song! True love, amazing grace, severe heartbreak, buckles, boots n spurs! I 've been thrown off the bull a couple times, I keep getting up and dusting myself off! Can't give up on my happily ever after!

Michelle.

Everyone see my face and how my clothes outline my figure.

Very, very few people will ever see my "junk".

Maybe a better way to phrase this question is, "which procedure would you have FIRST....."

First option, obviously. It's not like sex is anything important...

Haha thanks for voting guys & sorry i don't get pissed off that easy but nice try anyway!  ;D

Yeah i picked the first option. Growing up the main cause of my dysphoria was not my genitals but rather other things about my body that were male. I'm already pretty but if i could be more feminine like having a smaller frame, being shorter, etc i'd choose that over having a neo-vagina any day of the week!  ;)

Better to look the part than have the part.

I get asked out by random guys on the street no matter what I wear. I should get SRS, but I don't wanna.

But I mean if you're an older transitioners, chances are you won't have the option of being a beautiful young girl. So they sync more to the idea of SRS... Like this one:

Most people don't care what someone has in their pants. I know I've met plenty of ts people who tell me, "I'm post op" who try to get one over on me and I am like, "Did it do anything for that face of yours? Oh, didn't think so." As if having srs, is going to change peoples physical perceptions of them. Thus ffs/ba are a lot more important.

We interact with the face... Not with the privates.

It has always been looks for me. What is, or isn't, inside my panties only I know.

You call me shallow for needing other people accept me as a woman. Thank makes it tons easier for me to accept myself for who I am. I do far too good of a job beating myself up. I don't need help from others.

I am shallow and superficial.... It's not bad.

But a lot of transitioners come from a different mold...Namely nerdy types. I question with some of them where the fantasy begins and ends. They were never good looking men, much less women. So they grasp to SRS because it's their only femininity. I respect that....

If I couldn't pull this off...I'd be a drag queen on the weekends instead of a faux queen never. I knew the stakes were that high...

Yeah 4realz, if there was no chance of me ever passing even with FFS then i'd probably never have done this. Call me superficial but whats the use of changing your gender if you'll never be seen as the gender your presenting as?   :icon_crazy:

I don't like my genitals nor do i want to keep them but my outward appearance and how society see's me is much more important.

+1

Appearances are extremely important. A lot of men have told me they wish I'd get srs, cuz I would be the perfect woman for them. Of course, some can still tell...But it's levelled off over the past two years. I think makeup skills go along way but also not dressing like a gay boy helped. But some people can still tell, they are rare and mainly of the fanboy variety(as if their opinion holds water, it doesn't)

But I am 5'5" and petite..

Kia Ora R,

::) Beauty fades with time[it's shallow only skin deep and in the eye of the beholder]-nothing is permanent-but the peace that comes from have matching parts 'mind & body' will in the long run bring more contentment in old age...[As long as the desire to have a vagina was the overall goal]...
