Im 8 months on HRT now. I didn't even think I would make it this far. Lol.
I've got new name change documents from the UK Deedpoll office in the mail. I have no idea how that will affect my documentation here in the US.
And I apparently have a crush on some guy at work which has left me both confused, angry at myself and acting like a little schoolgirl around him even when I'm doing all I can to not be like that. But it came out of nowhere and I've been beating myself up over it ever since because I never had an interest like this in guys before HRT. and this is more than just 'noticing' him too. Of course my Sister, Azmaria, has been enjoying my dismay and confusion emensely and keeps reminding me ' your a girl now, it's okay'.

Oh well, like every situation that I ever encounter that I find disagreeable, I will adapt and overcome.
But heck! I didn't even think I was Bi in the least but apparently I am now.

Congrats, Keaira  :) but did you mean to post this in the MTF section?

Keaira

Yes. Why? O.o

Edit:

..... Crap!  I see what you were getting at.

I hate being relegated to using my iPod to post with. Because I'm FASTER than APPLE!!
Hey Apple, how about you make a screen that works with a stylus so people don't fat finger to the wrong areas. :(

Congrats Keaira on making it this far, way to go!

Your not the only one that was surprised to find they're bi, I had no idea before now. Don't worry about acting like a school girl around handsome guys it's a part of going through puberty. ;)

Congrats on eight months!  As for your discovery of an interest in guys, don't beat yourself up over it!  There's absolutely nothing wrong with finding guys attractive.

Congrats keaira, you take me 2 months ahead, I hope the same spirit to reach you.
It´s funny, because in my experience, I have lost all interest in men (I´m heterosexual), maybe I have been forced to live in their world so much time that I reject any contact with it. Now I feel more like a little girl, only interested in trivial things.

Congrats Keaira! I can't wait until I have made it 8 months.

Thanks everyone. ^_^

I guess it is only natural, being 32 going on 13. lol  It just knocked me for a loop that it even happened. Just goes to show, you never stop learning. my only disappointment is how slowly my chest is growing, but I'm sure everyone feels that way. But I finally feel right, I wake up happy (unless someone woke me up too early of course), and I feel like I don't have to hold back who I am anymore. Now I need to update my wardrobe to reflect my gender and even find a style that I like and works for me. I'm thinking Tomboy/rock chic, I don't see me as ever being a girly girl.
*hugs*

It certainly looked that way to me. I used to joke that I'll look like my own sister. Almost looks that way to me. ^_^

I'm happy for you ^^ It's a huge difference, you'll look even better with long hair. I must say tho, that you looked smoking hot as a guy, like a young Johnny Depp  ;)

Really? o.O It's funny, I can count the number of dates I've had on 3 fingers, so I cant agree with that assessment. Either that or I've just been so wrapped up in my own universe to notice anyone interested in me. And Another woman at work used to call me Johnny Depp too. interesting...

But thank you for the kind words. ^_^

I didn't see the resemblance you saw until I found this photo:

And then I saw it! LMAO! Johnny Depp might look like me if he transitioned. LOL

Johnny Depp would look good... er, does look good. Always. Very little of the immense number of things Johnny is amazing at could remotely tarnish his insanely great good looks. Even the things he might not be so good at would only serve to moderately contrast the sheer brilliance of his looks. He deserves to be his own noun to describe the awesomeness of his appearance.

I like Johnny Depp quite a bit if you hadn't noticed. He's the only one though.

That was very eloquently put. And I do agree on all points. ^_^
Who doesn't love Captain Jack Sparrow?
