I work around wood all day and it can smell 50 different kind of bad at one time. I bent over to pick up some sticks and a smell hit me. chills went up my back about middle way and split two ways travailing under my arms up to my chest and my nipples began to tingle. All I know is I felt like I had to find that smell again. I kept sniffing for it as I worked. I bent over again to pick up some sticks took in a deep breath and there it was again. I got the same reaction as I did  at first but I realized where it was coming from. The guy standing next to me. I could not believe it. I was getting turn on by his smell this has never happened before and I don't know what to thing of it. My own smell has pretty much changed since I started HRT.
What does this mean?
Is it because I don't smell like a guy anymore so my nose is just getting sensitive to the smell because I haven't smelled it in awhile?
The scary thing is my body tingled and I liked it but I don't know what to think about it.

There are men who smell so good that my teeth literaly start chattering and I get the shivers.

Most guys however smell very bad to me and it grosses me out.

Before HRT this never happened.

It could be either that, yes, or it could be that the female hormones basically "Rewires" the body and its functions, which means that it will also start to react biochemically as a female in all what it means. If this later scenario was the cause to your reaction, then your body simply registered "Good mating-material" from the guys pheromones.
After all, that is what pheromones are for, to attract partners.

It was just the one guy I was trying to smell from others but got nothing from them.

I don't think so, I experienced this already pre-HRT. And the same goes for homosexual people, they will also be turned on by the smell of persons of their own sex. This stuff has to do with your sexual orientation and is probably already rewired from birth in your brain.

What is probably happening is that starting HRT improved the sense of smell. Women have a better sense of smell than men do, and it's mostly a hormonal effect. In fact, the sense of smell of women is different depending on the day of the month, it cycles with their hormones.

Basically you just confirmed what I said. Or atleast, what I meant, although I did not get into the bits of the brainwiring since birth.

However, in Jainie marlena's case, it seems on her description as this was something new to her, indicating that she had never eperienced it before, which further indicates that, in her case, it is exclusively the HRT that are responsible for the reaction.
