Yes. This. Thank you. I think I wronged her by pretending for so long that her needs were somehow completely separate from my well-being. What we have now, in my household, is a kind of freedom and ease I never realized we'd been missing. She's a great kid with serious problems, and it wasn't noble or useful at all for me to spend all my time trying to pass as female. It just distracted me from raising her. She'll still have a weird upbringing, but now at least it's honest.

  We had an official testosterone party yesterday. We went and got cheap soda and microwave pad thai and played happy music. She asked me lots of questions. We danced around and cooked and cleaned. Pure silly.
