Hey all. First of all, I'm new, so just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Callum and an FTM transgender.  ;)

Anyway, the reason I posted this thread was because I'd like some tips about my binder. I am a size A chest. I own a Lesloveboat 2nd Gen. Jersey Mesh Short Binder. I got it almost exactly a month ago. This is what it looked like when I got it, but keep in mind that I was wearing two shirts and trying to make my chest look as small as possible.

After a month, this is what it looks like (though I am wearing a tight girly shirt in the first one, unfortunately).

The velcro is all the way to the end, by the way.

My top dysphoria has been getting much worse over the past month and I feel like my binder isn't doing anything, but I can't tell if that's just psychological or if it's actually happening. I've actually stopped binding most of the time so that I wouldn't be disappointed by how little I think my binder is doing.

So, I have a few questions. First, does it look like the binder is wearing out, and is that possible after only a month? Second, any binding tips to make my chest look flatter? And third, are there any binders you know of that might be better? I am looking to try a new one as well, since this one is cut so high.

Thank you so much for reading this very long post and I appreciate any input!  ;D

Hi. I've never had the brands you mentioned, but the fit of both my binders changed within the first month. When my chest dysphoria is bad, I can't use my Underworks 997 because I feel like I have too much curve when I wear it.

I find that my chest always looks better than I think it does, and the best thing for me is to minimize my feelings of discomfort. Breast movement bugs me, as does the feeling that I'm wearing a bra. I try to deal with that stuff.

But binders can wear out. Idk. That last photo looks pretty wrong, but if that's what it looks like underneath what you're wearing in the second photo, it shouldn't be a problem. Men's chests usually have some curve.

I thought the LLboat binders were supposed to be quite good but I don't have any experience with them myself. Looking at the pictures, it does seem 'wrong'. Do you just put it on and expect the binder to do it's magic or have you tried.. 'positioning' your moobs in different ways? I usually don't bother doing it unless I wear a tighter fitting shirt (like a tight tanktop or my rashguard) but you could try pushing them down and to the side.

Sort of.. spreading them over a larger area, if you know what I mean ;)
This tends to be easier after some time because binding makes the tissue softer and squishier.

And not a binding tip, but yes, layering of the shirts and wearing button up shirts is a good one to hide any curves left.

I use and adore the love boat binders. I have bought from underworks and t-kingdom and i've found them much better for my body.
I have that exact binder. I found the 2nd Gen jersey mesh a little bit too stiff for my liking, the other style that i've used is much more adjustable and makes postitioning much easier.

Nathan is right, you need to try repositioning your chest. I found pushing down and to the side didnt work for me at first, up and to the side did. The more you bind the less dense your chest will be, making it much easier to manipulate and hide curves.
I also used wear a tight shirt over my binder then one or two other shirts over that. Before my chest got easier to repositon.

But if i were you, i wouldnt stress too much. You said youre an A cup. A bit of binding and repositioning and you should be fine just wearing one shirt with your binder. That's what I do now and I'm a B cup.

Well, that certainly made a huge difference.

Thanks so much, guys!

I'm glad you got it down haha

I was going to say try working on positioning, but that's already been said. I think that's one of the difficult parts of binding. But you're lookin' good now! :)
