Wouldn't it be far better if when we read or hear something someone said that if instead of assuming that we heard or read it correctly that we took a little time to ask for clarification. Often times what is hear is not always what someone else means. What I mean is that often a person will be saying A but what I may be hearing is B but if I do not take the time to ask what was really meant it ends up leading to hurt feelings and misunderstandings but if we were to take a little extra time and effort to try to understand where someone else is coming from it could solve a whole lot of misunderstandings and hurt feelings.
