Hi all,

My therapist and I have been discussing low dose hormones as a possible way to ease my anxiety and depression so that I may be able to cope better in my curent life. Therefore, I'm considering it as my anti-depressants and ADD meds just don't seem to be working as well anymore.

Can anyone share their experience with this treatment? Or does anyone know where I can find case studies or information?

Thank you,

Gwen

Well. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a doctor.

HRT was fracking near a miracle drug for me. It calmed me immensely, made me happier, increased my emotionality, helped me sleep and even made it possible for me to quit drinking. It also calmed my abundance of anger, though I know I still need therapy for a lot of it.

I also don't beleive in anti-depresants, having been on them all.

I don't know much about low-dose regimens, but I WILL suggest this: be prepared for the possibility that once you start, you'll never be able to stop - and will want more... then more... then...

If estrogen is what your mind and body are craving, it seems to be *terribly* addictive.
