Um, awkward...

No, really.  What do you prefer to smell like?  It can be based off shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant, moisturizer and/or fragrances.  I'll share all I use...

Herbal Essences or Aussie shampoo/conditioner (though not entirely pleased with either, so soon seeking something new)
Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton body wash (before I used Dove Cream Oil body wash, which was awesome stuff)
Mitchum Women's deodorant (Powder Fresh)
Baby's Night Time Lotion (Target brand)
For the summer months I use Bath & Body Works Hawaii Coconut body spray, for the fall season I use Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton body spray and for the Christmas season I use Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel body spray.

NOW we can throw in the "awkward" comment ;D

What about you?  Care to share?

I like to smell andro, if that makes any sense.

I don't like too overly girly smells, same for too masculine smells.
I like scents that fall somewhere on the middle, but more to the fem side.

Like Miss Dior Mon Cherie...

I prefer nice, florally clean scents. I used to wear Paris, Britney, and G.Lo girl scents as a boy.

I'm a big fan of the ylang-ylang flower. Heavy, sweet and fruity.
Also considered an aphrodisiac, so that's a nice bonus. :)

Where do you get that scent?

My god, Purr smells soooo good. Ever try Taylor Swifts "candy"?

Wife and I have a cat, who doesn't like to stand downwind of me. Or lay on my chest when I'm laying on the bed. She'll look at me, scrinch her nose, and (I'm serious) she'll have this look like, "Oh. My. Gawd. What a stinky man!" Then she'll move over (upwind, always; often we have the windows open) and lay on the wife's chest.

Humans don't have a problem with my smell...I shower each day, use deodorant, etc.

I think I'm going to try the "Purr" scent that was mentioned...where can it be found?
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I smell like a combination of spoiled milk, urine and dirty baby diapers.

Uh, ok, awkward!

Lol, j/k. I smell like a fresh bouquet of spring flowers mixed with a big feminine rainbow dipped in the sweetest girly fragrance you've ever, ever smelled!

Hot.

Plain soap, lavender and mild fruit. The last from my conditioner and hair wax, the lavender from an Aveeno body wash and the soap smell from my plain Dove antiperspirant. But mostly I just smell like clean skin. I can't handle strong scents, they make my head ache.

Mostly I smell like Insolence by Guerlain.. or Jardins de Bagatelle, also by Guerlain..

Mmm, I love ginger bread cookies.  Not a bad scent to smell like!

I would imagine any major department store would have it (Macy's, for example).  Though I don't know for sure.

Wow, that must be a very intoxicating scent!  If you ever decide to market it, let me know  ;)  It sounds...magical.

As for the first scent you mentioned, I know the combination all too well.  Not pleasurable by any means

As for everyone else who responded, thanks, I read your posts.  There is definitely some diversity which is awesome.  I'd like to try new fragrances in the future so this thread has helped me see what is preferred.  More replies are welcome, of course, but thanks so far!

I don't have kids, but I have been around people who do, and what gets me is this nauseating perfume that they put in baby products. The other stuff is a fact of life that you deal with, but on top of that you have to smell the manufactured stink too. It can't be healthy either.

I use Suave shampoo and body wash so I always smell like cucumber melon. I also use the Twilight Woods lotion from Bath and Body Works.
