I'm curious as to what you other ladies do to remove hair from your back side. I know some of you will say to get a Brazilian wax done but the problem I have is nobody around where I live will do it, so I am wondering what my other options are other than shaving! Can anybody give me an idea of what they do for this problem?

Shaved. However, that was literally a pain in the @$$. Waxing never really appealed to me, as you get all the pain and it's not permanent. I've had full body laser hair removal, and it makes life sooooo much easier.

The cost is dependent on a couple of factors...

-How much hair, is the area very dense with hair? This will dictate how many treatments you will need also.

-Is the hair coarse or fine?

-What color is the hair? Laser (LHR) works better with darker hairs, and the coarser the better cause they conduct more heat to destroy the blood supply to the root. Lighter hair will require Electrolysis, remember that Dark absorbs heat and white reflects it.

-Are you currently on HRT? The hormones can decrease the hair growth, but not permanently rid you of the hair.

-On the "ouch" factor...yes it will ouch, but below the neck it is tolerable and dependent on the thickness of the hair folicle and the amount of energy being used in the Laser.

-Cost...its done by body part, arms, hands, Chest, etc. Depending on where you live, especially if there is a glut of LHR salons, could run you anywhere from $100.00 - $400.00 per session for back alone. Shop around, avoid "package deals" if you can. Anymore questions you can PM me.

After enough hrt, it goes away there, just like the chest and belly.  I'm sure lots of folks have the same experience, and I had quite a lower abdomen black forest *ick*

Just about $12,000 over 2 years. I'd go every 6-8 weeks for anything below the neck... and every 4 weeks for my face. Facial hair is stronger and more resistant to the laser... plus it regrows much faster. If you go for full body, most providers will cut you a significant discount, compared to just having a few areas done. The hours I used to spend in the shower shaving every week, are now spent on more important pursuits... like shopping for shoes.  :icon_yes: :icon_cute:
