I have been having night sweets off and on this month and was wanting to now if it could be from hormones being to low.  ???

Hi Jainie,

Could also be caused by to higher levels; or something totally unrelated. Best idea is to see your GP or endo for some blood tests, to see what your levels are; and what's really happening.

Not a good idea to leave 'sweats' to chance, hoping they'll go away or doing a DIY

Hope you have a speedy recovery. In the meantime be safe, well and happy

Lotsa huggs

It could be yes. Depending on your regime it might need increasing or not... If your not DIYing it you need to discuss this with your provider.

If you are DIYing it you might not need to simply increase it for exsample if it were me before increasing my dose I'd see if I can lower the dose but more sessions... like taking my estrogen in a divided dose, morning/afternoon or if injections then smaller dose every half-week closer together to achive a similar effect without upping the ante.

Have your E2 level checked. A simple blood test is the only way to be sure.

I had night sweats for the first 2 weeks on HRT and then it subsided. As it seemed to me it was only until my body finished switching the hormonal levels.
On the beginning still low on E and slowly getting of T. Menopausal women are getting low on E and therefore have the sweats
so following that logic you might be low on E. I was given the lowest does of E for the first 3 months.
But like everyone else says I'd check in with your doc instead of deciding for yourself.
good luck!

Hi Jainie,

Hm, talking about the possibility of too high levels i.e. E dominant is a possibility also irregular E intake.

As a side note, I had 'morning sickness' (projection vomiting and dizziness) yesterday and THAT I'm sure is also related to too high E levels.
I though (getting hot etc.) I be too low and upped my daily intake the day before in portions.
Then next morning 'having a baby!' - I'm sure is was to be a boy :-)
In fact to have such for 3 month every morning is SOMETHING else.
So if you get morning sickness you might be too high on E.

I did, the night sweats occur sparingly now.  Are you taking spiro?  I urinate and sweat more on this stuff.  I'm on a quarter dose of spiro than my peak dosage.  Your body is also adjusting to the change to the hormone levels.  See your doctor about the dosages.  Take spiro in the morning with at least an apple.

@Joelene9 Yes I am on spiro. I did not think of it on the sweating part. I upped my E that helped. I sweat less now.
