So I know I'm not the only guy who waits for winter just to pile on more clothes and cool jackets.

I was just browsing around tumblr and saw this ... I want that jacket! Not to mention that guy has perfect hair imo.

Post up some of your inspiring winter clothing items (that you either own or would like to).

I like peacoats, and finally got my first one. It doesn't fit perfectly but it's an okay fit. Unfortunately, it doesn't make me look slimmer or taller.

Yeah, I love winter!

My sister is a fashion designer, so I'm getting her to make me a custom coat for next winter, can't wait! Until then, 'tis the season for otherwise too hot cosplay! (for you guys)

Just got to love how online communities intergrate opposite hemispheres.

Back to the point, it's still not cold enough for winter clothes where I am.  I do have some winter vests I love just because of how less feminine my upper body looks when I wear them.

not really fancy though.

Peacoats are so classy and unique looking.  Even though I want one, I don't own one yet since I've been really picky about them for some reason. (don't like the color, length is too short, etc) Frustrated my mom when we tried to shop for them.

Agree with you about the perfect hair.

Those are some wicked cosplay photos. Do you already have an idea of what you want your coat to look like?

Yeah, I basically just said to her 'I want it down to mid leg, with lots of buckles and zips, and a big collar' and she went away and drew things, then got me to choose one of the designs she'd come up with. It's amazing, but I don't have the money for it just yet so I'm not getting her to make it until winter. :P

no, I definitely think it makes you look slimmer.  I can't see your legs, so I don't know about taller.  but slimmer definitely.

I think it looks good actually. Just get the sleeves hemmed up and you'll be good to go.

Sharky, yours looks good to.

I have a couple pea coats. One is the most legit one I'd ever hope to have - it was my dad's when he was in the navy in the 60's! He wasn't much bigger than me so it actually fits me.

And all you Aussie's and others south of the equator - I KNOW it's getting into your summer but it's OUR winter, heh. You can post your own thread 6 months from now and make us all jealous.

Agh, I want a peacoat so, so bad. Always have. I hate being so goddamn moneyless. I'll throw up some more pictures of my beloved trenchcoat sometime, though.

Another military style jacket I've procured ...

I wore the exact same clothes October - April when I lived in Russia last year, so I'm currently looking for something more exciting for winter. Though I'm spending December in Tokyo this year, I don't think it gets so cold there?
Look hot with the coats, guys.

I love your coat!!!! And yes, I love winter, too! So much easier to dress and NOT having to worry about boobs and
stuff! I always hated summer, all the other guys can take their shirts off...and I had to wear that additional layer
of a binder or sports bra under my T-shirt!
My house is only heated by wood burners and fireplaces, so it never gets very warm in here; which makes it even
more fun to wear all my favourite lambswool jumpers and shirts plus an additional layer of polar fleece - I don't
even feel my boobs anymore, leave alone see them in the mirror, even without binding!
Outdoors, I love my padded corduroy trench-coat jackett; I'm really keen on all styles military, and have been trying
to get my hands on a double breasted uniform greatcoat (seen them on ebay, not too expensive, but f...k this country
(Germany), when I wanted to bid on it, I couldn't for some ->-bleeped-<-ty legal reason???? Censorship more like! :icon_chainsaw:

I feel ya there. Its a bitch finding coats/jackets that fit me right because it seems like all the fat in my body only goes to my gut. I love wearing skinny/straight legged jeans with boots during the winter, because wet pantlegs are one of my biggest rage-inducers, but I always have this fear that I look like a midgety Dr.Robotnik or something because of it.

ive always said i look best in boxers and a t-shirt winter is not a good season for that.
