Before anyone starts yelling  ;)  I have been reading alot, I am very in tune with my body and I am the first to know when something is off kilter, and I am referring to an estrogen cream that I can get from a GG. I know it was prescribed for yeast infections but didn't do it's job; apparently it was something else. IDK if she has pills or not, she's looking tonight to see what all she has. Now. The question is: Will the estrogen cream have any effect on breast growth?

I have a friend who has been using an estrogen cream as her primary way of getting estrogen for feminization. I personaly have no experience with it and can't say that it is any more or less effective at feminizing. It is cheaper than patches and those with liver problems might benefit from using it versus oral forms.

functionally not useful for feminization effects it contains (too low a dose) estrogen per gram and is used as topical treatment to relieve vaginal dryness in post menopausal women. in short in order to achieve a theraputic dose you would probably have to use the whole damn tube. also use of estrogen alone increases risk of blood clots and strokes and without a androgen blocker is pointless

Even when using a cream/patch you aren't supposed to place it on the breast. Isn't it because of greater risk of cancer?

I can't really condem you for doing DIY since I did too with low dose E for 9 months and various T blockers for 2 years, but I will say that it isn't as hard as you would think to get medically supervised HRT.

Thanks everyone. I will look further into the supervised, I wonder how hard it would be to convince the doctor for an orchie?  :icon_idea: That icon is a little suggestive. Or is it just me... Anyway.   Hugs, LanaB

There is a Dr in Atl that will do one with no letters but his current rate is like 5k. The Dr in PA retired so he isn't an option anymore.

I remember having a phone consultation with him a few years ago regarding an orchie. He told me if he was my hormone doctor, I would have had a size 36B within 6 months of starting HRT. That was quite amusing.

I've not heard of estrogen gel for yeast infection!
yeast infects almost always clear up with the usual stuff so your GG may be kidding you.

I use estrogel for therapy and its keeping my E as high as GG.   one squirt has .75mg of E which seems to be a fine maintainance dose.

@lilacwoman: there were other extenuating circumstances, like part of an ovary attached to the bladder left behind from a hyster and regrowing...long story short. I really am not concerned with the reason she had it and it didn't work, just whether or not it would do anything for me... hehe Thank you all  Hugs LanaB
