Hi all,

So I was shoppig for boots the other day and I found a pair I loved at Long Tall Sally. Of course, they offered it in my size 11 but that store is very expensive I find. So, I went to a department store that had the SAME boots but only sells them in size 10 at the biggest, but they were 40% off! So I HAD to buy them in the smaller size!

They are leather so I know they will give out a bit, but right now they are a little snug. Should I keep the smaller size and save the money or bite the bullet and get the ones that are my size, but pricier. Any ideas girls? I imagine that since many tgirls have bigger feet that they may be able to relate.

Thanks!

Think about it like this: shoes that don't fit you are non-shoes. You have no choice but to buy the size 11s at a higher price, or some other fitting shoe. A shoe that does not fit is not worth a cent.

My feet are not big in length but they are a little wide so some shoes don't fit me too well. I bought some boots once. They were so tight that I think I was losing circulation and it caused so much pain I had to loosen them up every so often. After a few wears, they fit me just fine and I never experienced pain with them again. So, keeping the smaller size may be an option.

you're going to be in a lot of pain because you wanted to save some money. I really do not think that was smart shopping....a whole size? Leather isn't going to give way that much.

If you haven't worn them yet, return them. Look around in stores or online until you find a decent price boot with your size.

I bought two pair of boots totaling 70 dollars. I price shopped and it was worth it.

If you are fulltime out, those boots are going to be your worse enemy. You'll get 2 hours of use per day at the most.

I was glad when i realised that although i was pushing a size 11 in men shoes in womens shoes im normally ok with a size 9, means i can use normal priced shops!

Agreed. That happened to me before. I got a pair of shoes that were ever so slightly too small for me. I figured it would be ok, but after about an hour of wearing them I couldn't take it anymore and had to take them off. Luckily the store allowed me to return them, but otherwise they would have just sat in my closet forever.

It sucks, but I'd say you have to bite the bullet and get the bigger ones. Or see if you can order your from somewhere else online? I don't have a lot of experience with that so I don't know how easy that would be...

Depending on the style of shoe unlacing and re-lacing can make shoes bigger

Well, if you got a crappy economy and you feel that the boots only squeeze slightly but not painfully so, then I definitely think you should keep the boots you bought. And, if they were on Realization, you won't(Usually) be able to return them anyways, so you are probably stuck with them either way.
A size is not that much. Wear them and tear them and soon enough they will be a good fit. :P
