Or if we're getting particular, hooray for Elle Brazil, for choosing Lea T. for its December cover. The Brazilian transsexual model looks stunning on one her first mainstream covers ever.

Lea T. lept onto every fashion editor's radar this year, with a swimsuit shoot, her first runway show and even a sit-down chat with Oprah (the pinnacle of any person's career).

But up till now, her magazine covers had been reserved to the lesser-read titles, such as Lurve and Love (where she and Kate Moss locked lips).

I just read about this! Wow! She looks terrific on the cover, with the state of transgender violence in Brazil it was a brave choice for them. Yay! for everyone involved.
