Hi, I'm trip (that is of course, my net nickname but I'm beginning to prefer it more than my name in rl).
I found this place because I saw a friend viewing it while I was in his dorm, and decided to check it out. In some ways it feels strange to be coming here, in other ways it feels perfectly right.
That same friend brought about my knowledge in not only what androgyny is but that I'm androgynous too. If I had not met him, I'd probably still be trying to be female at all times, as it is more professional (i'm a teacher) and that definately does not make me happy.
I originally met this friend through a meetup for another website I'm on. He said he considered himself andrgoynous and I remember thinking, "he looks perfectly normal." A few hours into the meetup he asked if we minded if he changed into skirt. I'd no clue how to react to that - so I looked at the other girl present and let her make the decision. He changed into his skirt and we went out to eat. Almost immediately, I had completely forgotten he was in a skirt - indeed more than once I found myself wondering why people were looking our way. As I began spending more time with him, I looked up what it meant to be androgynous and found the descriptions to be suited to me. That self-indification has helped me be myself just as much as spending time with my friend has.
And I'm not really sure what else to write, so I'll just end my intro post on that note.
