Pre T I hardly had any zits. When I did break out it was work related. So a week into T when my face became a greasey oily slick spot I freaked out. No one wants that at any age. I happen to have some left over proactive treatment. Used it and didn't help much. On to google and reading lots. Have no life I am home most all days. So it came down to tea tree oil and witch hazel.

I stopped at the store today to grab dinner and witch hazel, since that store didn't have tree oil. I can say just this afternoon after putting witch hazel on twice damn what a difference. For you guys with little money needing something to help acne this is it.

Anyone else have some cheap tricks to help with acne 

I've never tried it personally, but I heard a good natural treatment for acne was sulfur soap? I think it was called grandpa's sulfur soap or something like that, you can google it. I remember it being around 3 dollars.

There's also glycerine soap, which is made from vegetables, I use it and get it at the dollar store. I use that and a combination of apricot scrub, but I don't know if that'd be strong enough to help as I don't get bad breakouts, and I'm also pre-T.

I was good with regular face wash before so I figured it would stay same. I'm not a big fan of putting crap on my face I don't like the feel of even lotions. So far witch hazel is good since it dries right up. Smells a lil but donesn't seem to stay long. Once I get some tea tree oil I'll use both to keep things even.

I used baking soda for a while.  Just mixed it with water, put it on my face, let it dry, then washed it off.  It helped a little bit.

I've read that egg and lemon juice (separately) can help as well.  Haven't tried these though.

Scanning threw a site I saw the lemon juice sitting right next to baking soda. Laughed wondering who put both on face same time haha. I'm not keen on trying the egg. The lemon juice and baking soda both help with teeth whitening. Guess that could help make trying them a bit more worth it.

I'm a fan of witch hazel too.  Also, if you sleep with your face against a pillow, changing the case often can help.

Try some of the natural treatments out there. For me I'd rather put something as natural as can be on my face. Plus its way cheaper which is always good.

My latest trick is...
Stop touching your face. It's recently become a bit of a compulsion for me to touch and pick at my face. If you do this a lot and are able to stop then awesome! Go for it.
