Given the issue of passability and TG/TS girls' general sensitivity to being too tall (as height is one of the clocking factors)....

How important is it that your partner is taller than you?

For me, I stand around 5'6 - just right, not too short, not too tall - but I still prefer guys to be at least 5'10 or above, so even when I wear heels, I am still not taller than him. 6'0 is my dream height in a man!

Plus people observing us will just see a typical short girl with a taller guy at her side and think nothing of it, while the tall girl/short guy duo tends to get a second glance.

I'm not worried about it.  I'm 5'4" so, any guy shorter than me probably has more insecurities to worry about than I would due to it...

I'm 5'5, my bf is 5'8, and I think 3" difference is nice. I wouldn't want a really really tall partner because I feel short enough that it could kinda get annoying after a while. But height would have never been an absolute deal-breaker for me...

I'm 5'10, and I want someone near my height or taller.

Which is tough to find, since I like girls.

I'm 5'6" and I LOVE taller. But I'll tolerate a good man if he's as tall but considerably stronger than me. It's not hard to be stronger than me, I get a 44 yr old woman to loosen mannequin stands at school for me lol!

I'm 5'11 1/3" and I wouldn't mind if my partner was shorter or taller than me. Although, I wouldn't want him or her to be on the very short side. A few inches difference.

I'm 5'7 and the shortest I have dated is 6'2, the tallest is 6'5. Not that I am opposed to dating shorter guys than that, I just seem to attract tall guys!

I'm barely 5'5".... Height doesn't matter...vertically or horizontally.

I like Filipino guys. They still manage to be TALLER than me. wtf??? My late lover was 5'2" though. That was weird.

From an attraction standpoint I'd probably be ok with anything between 4'10" to 7'.  I'm 5'7".

They have to be close to my height or taller. >.< The former is more likely.

Ooh im tallest to post so far I think! Im 6 foot 2 inches with bare feet so i cant afford to be too picky over height. Im looking more for a good heart than a good height!

i'm 5'6 and as long as my boyfriend is my height or taller i'm pretty happy, but i've only met a guy shorter than me once in my life so it's not really an issue.

Love knows no height. Those who only date taller men will be missing out on a lot of great guys. I'm 5'5 and my partner is 5'3 or 5'4. When I wear heels I look like a giant next to him but I don't care.

It really isn't important, too many other things matter.

If I could be shorter, I'd like a short guy. I don't know, I'm uneasy around tall people. But since I'm not exactly short, maybe I'd go with an average guy, so that he's a bit taller than I. I hate standing out, and nothing stands out more than a tall girlfriend with a short boyfriend.

I wouldn't NOT date someone because they were shorter than me. But, there's a part of my that would really like to look up into my lover's eyes (assuming I had a lover). But I'm 6 feet tall. A lover taller than me would be a tall person indeed.

I'm 5'11" and generally prefer guys 6'2" and above. I've dated plenty of shorter men, but they usually make up for their short-comings in other ways .

One guy I used to date was around 5'6" and he would always beg me to wear heels. It was more of a turn-on for him I think.
