I had to go to see my Endo yesterday. She was pretty happy with my progress so she increased my hormone dosage. And She is also writing me a letter to take with me when I go to the BMV and Social Security office so I can get my Gender Marker changed. I just dont know if that will nullify my marriage so I need to find out before I change it. I'm told it wont, but I'd prefer to be cautious.

Later on, my wife and I went shopping and I got my bangs trimmed. One of the hairdressers, after my stylist was done said, "Wow, that was fast."
My stylist said " Well I was going to just cut her head off, but she just wanted her bangs trimmed."

I was pretty happy.

And I was called Ma'am and 'she', etc. all night basically. ^_^

I got ma'med once in a Philadelphia train station by the conductor but I was not presenting as female at the time - I was dressed androgynously.  I didn't like it because he called me m'am, and I wanted to be called miss.

Here where I live (thousands of miles away from the US or Europe), they don't let you change your gender if you're married (~_~) not to mention that they require surgery be done first... argh

So it's great you can just do that where you are!
