On HRT, the biggest change I noticed was my eyes.  Something happened to them.  They became women's eyes.  Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. It's the biggest change I've noticed after 3 months as far as the face is concerned.

Honestly, I cannot say with certainty that HRT changes one's eye shape, rather it is more likely a change in our perception and change in our facial expressions.  As well, perhaps with any fat redistribution within the face, it has given the illusion the eyes themselves changed shape, when in actuality it was the shape around them that changed.  Regardless, it is awesome.

i think it is your perception that has changed. Not the eyes.

My eyes has changed a great deal too but it was with the application of makeup that made them the way they are.

I do not believe HRT can change the physical shape of an eye no more it can change the physical shape of a nose.

Actually, my eyes did change physically. Well the eyelids did. They became a lot more puffed up than they were before hormone replacement. It was pretty noticable.

mine did too but I couldn't say exactly what had changed unless perhaps the fat under the upper face skin did it.

HRT can cause changes in the lens curvature. This can cause problems with people who are wearing lenses. Pregnant women have the same problem due to their changing hormone levels, this is why pregnant women and transsexual people undergoing HRT should not undergo eye laser surgery until their hormone levels have stabilized.

However, this is something that won't make much of a visual difference for someone looking at you.

Hormones can also reduce the tear production in your eye. This too can cause problems for people who are wearing lenses.

Estrogen and progesterone influences the curvature of your cornia.

It even has estrogen receptors on it like breast cells do.

I didn't notice too much of a change visually... My eyesight got worse but it was doing that anyway... however I did notice for the first 4 months or so my eyeballs did hurt shortly after my injection.

Perhaps, though I do not know for sure it cannot change the eye shape.  In fact, as others have pointed out, perhaps the eye shape can change to a degree.

I was looking at pictures of myself pre-HRT the other day and noticed something as well. Although I thought it had more to do with a smoothing out of the areas around my eyes. I now look less "rough around the edges" in the eye area.

I've always had female eyes, definately my most female feature. I hope they don't turn male
