A question for my husband

So, I hope I am not intruding. To clarify, I am FTM, but my husband enjoys cross dressing when we are at home.

Currently, he works in a very visable public job, but we are moving soon to an area where he will be able to dress while he goes out. I've kept a lot of my female clothing around because he is fond of them, and he looks wonderful wearing them. We have even bought him some clothing, and hopefully we will be able to expand his wardrobe.

He wants to dress and go out after we move, but I have never been versed in the ways of make-up, and he can do stage make up, but he feels that it looks not-quite right for up close viewing. The problem that he faces is that thanks to genetics he has very thick and dark facial hair. We have not been able to find a foundation that can cover up the five o'clock shadow he has. His hair also grows back in very quickly, and this poses a problem for him.

Does anyone have suggestions for foundations or concealers he can use to cover up his facial hair? Also, he is very dark featured thanks to his Hispanic heritage, so I am not sure what colors would look best with him. I was hoping to surprise him with a nice make-up set so he can start playing with colors and figuring out what he likes best.

Dermablend is the standard I think, but they have a very limited range of colors. I have also heard that using clown white as a concealer can work to but I don't have any personal experience. My girlfriend has a very thick beard that she covers really well with the dermablend. I bought some for myself, but found it was just to heavy for me and I just didn't find it that valuable. My beard growth is very light and I can get good coverage with a powder foundation.

Thanks! I will look into that! Everything I have found so far is labeled for use as "theatre" and I want to invest in something nice for him. He is certainly worth wading through all the make-up help sights, though! :)
