"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

Currently, Breaking Bad, even though the season is over.

Of all time? Probably Roseanne, AKA the soundtrack to my childhood.

Any show that's boring enough to help me get some sleep  :D

If you are not watching "Person of Interest" - what the heck is WRONG with you?

Beverly Hills 90210 or the Simpsons in the 90s.

With the approach of Christmas and the end of ratings, TV here is even more of a wasteland than usual.

One of the few programs I bother turning it on for is Robson Green's "Extreme Fishing".  If I haven't been fishing for ages, at least I can watch someone else having fun.

I don't watch any "reality" stuff on my own. I'm sometimes in the room when others are watching it. I can't think of a single faux reality show I would willingly choose to watch over turning the damned thing off.

I do like an occasional history or science show even if it's not a rigorous documentary type thing (the stuff the history channel used to do about ancient weapons or such like)  but I'd still watch a scripted series first.

Right now these are the shows i make a point of seeing, in rough order of importance:

1. Person of Interest
2. Fringe (virtual tie with #1)
3. Castle
4. Ringer
5. Terra Nova (started mediocre but coming on of late)
6. Once Upon a Time
7. Grimm
8. Haven
9. Hell on Wheels
10. Justified (starts back in January)
11. The Walking Dead (off until February)

I've never heard of any of these shows. I'm kinda stuck with either very well established or very well regarded or very offensive shows. Basically something has to reach a critical mass of either viewership or fandom for me to hear about it and acquire it.

1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 are in their first season - although PoI is getting very good ratings.

Castle does pretty well in the ratings as well, and if you were by chance a Firefly fan - Castle is Nathan Fillion's show.

if you are not a firefly fan - what the heck is wrong with you?!!?!

;)

Lol Firefly does have some diehard fans. I used to love Buffy, and xfinity has 5 episodes of Firefly, so I guess I'll check it out. See, you just demonstrated what I mean. I never just wander into good shows. I have to be beaten over the head with them. You aren't the first person to say good things about Firefly.

I never saw the appeal in those kind of shows. I don't even like Stargate.

I love Project Runway.

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong country, because my current top favorites all air, or used to air,  on BBC America (making them nearly impossible to watch on the actual TV) so I pretty much only watch tv shows online.

1)Torchwood
2) Dr. Who
3) the inbetweeners
4)bedlam
5)fawlty towers
6) Being Human (hated the american version)

I do watch some American shows though, occasionally
7)Chuck
8)Grimm
9) workaholics
