Note to everyone... POST PHOTOS...I WANNA SEE UPDOS...

i've been wearing my hair in a ponytail for a while now. i think the ponytail just works better for me. it makes me look younger. i have really thick, bob length hair that just covers me too much.

cute, although I can't really pull off short hair as I look too boyish, which I found out when I decided to cut my hair 2 months ago. which I regretted doing after wards.

Had the opposite experience. Everyone was all "omg, no don't do it," including my hairdresser. And then afterwards it was all... "ya, that looks waaayy better than before." Short hair actually makes my face look more delicate and slight. Long hair just looks like a lot of nothing.

I've been infected by the gay, and one symptom is the complete necrosis of all hair past the shoulder.  No ponytails or up-dos for me!

I know, right? Can't escape it.

Those studs are ridiculously cute. I've been trying to decide if I want to add a second helix to my left.

Yeah, I was really worried about it the first time around but after I just threw all caution to the wind and did it I was really happy with it afterwards.

I'm afraid it's a terminal case, too.

Oh, jeez, thanks!  I'm really happy with how they turned out.  I think I'm gonna replace them with little silver hoops soon and I may get a couple more piercings down that ear, maybe further down closer to the lobe.

I considerd getting a pixie cut ala Michelle Williams

.

But long hair suits me better, as I am the downtown SF "indie" chick. LOL But hey, I'd attract more gay boys. LOL

You could wear one of those fabulous drag queen wigs to make up for it!

Oh, swoon.  Look at that, I even make the straight girls fall for me.

I have lesbian fantasies.

They are well documented.

"Well documented" as in "those things you just edited out", huh? :D

But see, that was the problem.  Those were straight girls.  You've gotta try the überbutch gender->-bleeped-<- dykes.  Mmmm.

I don't even know where dykes hang out. How can a former gay man survive in dyke culture, even if on an "experimental" holiday? My parents are lezzies and I have no idea what dykes do or think or anything else. my Mom is a real ruffy though compared to my ultra femminess.

I've had a few lezzies hit on me and I won't lie...I've thought about it...In my room, underneath the covers, with a magazine to look at. An issue of CURVE.

Hahahahaha.  That magazine cracks me up.

Seriously, though.  There are a couple of lesbian bars in SF.  I know a friend who frequents Lexington.  You never know what you might find attractive in there.  ;)

...I should run a conversion therapy clinic that makes innocent, naïve little straight girls into superdykes.  It'd be a great counter to all of those pray-away-the-gay places.

I would. But MARRIED boyfriend went hyperbole tonight because I didn't text him. It's hard for me to get out to the City all night long and party.

Basically I can't party because he keeps me in digital bondage. But hey, he's a lucky 51 yr old even if it meant sacrificing my dreams and sexuality.

Digital bondage?  Kinky.

Seriously, though.  Controlling much?  Jeez, one would think as a married dude he'd have to be more permissive of what he lets his ravishing mistresses do.

Yes.

I thought the conclusion we had is that I have dyke fantasies. My mistake :)

Sometimes I wear it behind my ears to show my earrings, but that is usually a nervous habit of playing with my hair.

I wear mine back when I'm working outside on farm stuff or when it is really windy, but otherwise I try to keep it down to help shadow/soften my face.  Right now I'm trying out the curly girl method right now to see if I can keep my corkscrews for more than a 4-5 hours after washing.

Unfortunately all the nice looking short cuts require straight hair.  I'd look like I was sticking my fingers in an electrical socket if I cut it short.

I've tried a few things out, but I don't know how to do anything elaborate with it since I was never taught and my wife never cared to learn.
Blessed Be!

this is such a coincidence. i was reading a kate bornstein book earlier today. it's called "my gender workbook." the section i was reading was on desires and how those qualities are something we look for in someone else, but then goes into how we could become the thing we desire ourselves and reach a new place of desire provided by ourselves. it's not the traditional thing, but the book is about how one can actually break out of the gender boundaries if they really want to and become something else.
