I was just wondering what everyones thoughts were on the subject of being called Miss when I was married and divorced as a man.

Just my thoughts on the matter, I as a woman was never married so I think I can be called Miss.

Whatever the person wants to be called is fine by me.

My mother still keeps her maiden name and always uses Miss xxx, even though she never divorced or anything! So why not

I thought Miss wouldn't be politically correct in this age.  But yea, like you I'd LOVE! to be called miss.  Nothing like making up for lost time / lost moments from a mid-life transition.

I think a divorced woman could still be called  Miss.  She wouldn't be Mrs, so that basically leaves Miss, Ma'am (too formal maybe), and Ms.

But weren't you always a woman?

I was in such denial of myself for so many years I don't think I was really a woman as such. At least I wasn't living life as my true self and didn't even recognize that I wasn't.
