Hi there. For the holidays, my mother and I are going to my sister's place for a few days/weeks. It'll probably be fun escaping from all those annoying family reunions with half the people I don't even know, and the same bad food every year~.

When we talked about the project, my sister and mother told me "there are many trans-things and groups over there, so look into it and we can bring you if you'd like", which is a pleasing sign of acceptance. I wouldn't hate meeting a few other trans people for the first time in my life, but 1. no one in the world sucks more than I in research, and 2. I'm pretty shy.

So I wondered if you people had recommendations or ideas for such things.

Accessorily, I'm supposed to come up with activity ideas, since when we go there, we always tell ourselves that we wouldn't plan anything, since there's bound to be a ton of things to do in a million-people city, and end up not knowing what to do. So if you have suggestions on that secondary point, I'll take them. Shopping spots, outside activities, cool places to visit...

Note: I highly dislike parties, alcohol, loud music and whatever else can be qualified as "debauchery", not because I was told to or some religion told me to, but just because my personality's like that.
