Twins Reinforce What Trans People Know About Gender Identity

December 19, 2011 by Matt Kailey

The latest news about a trans child receiving legitimate help for a legitimate medical condition has the I-Know-What's-Best-For-You-To-Do-With-Your-Own-Body crowd coming out of the walls again.

A recent story in the Boston Globe reports on twins who were both assigned male at birth, with one expressing a female gender identity about as early as she could walk and talk. As the story is presented, the situation is pretty clear – twins Jonas and (now) Nicole could not have been more different from the time that they were toddlers.

With all the people who say that Nicole is too young to know that she is female, do they not realize that with that logic, that would also mean that Jonas would also be too young to know that he is male? Why aren't they raging about allowing Jonas to go through male puberty at an age where he might regret it later?

I haven't heard of McHugh for a while.

That article of his shows him unable to see the inner person behind the high heels, makeup etc.

Just cos the guy is a professor doesn't make him right.

Plus he spent a lot of time in Catholic church with its idolatry and mass pedophilia - so anyone who can blind themselves to the hypocrisies of that ain't fit to comment on others.
