I hear this a lot here. clarify for me so I understand. 

This is an argument where people try to define their gender under the idea that people are more female or male than another poster.

At the best it is stupid, at the worst it it hateful.

It also falls out of scientific principle. That is it cannot be proved, it cannot be tested and it will not advance knowledge, it is not useful and it cannot be reviewed independently. I think that covers  most of the problems with the science of people who read tea leaves. To be brutal an opinion is just that. If you cannot back an opinion with cold facts, it is nothing but day dreams.

Ignore them and do not get drawn into arguments by smooth talking people.

You deserve better. Or they will be painting your roof with rain repellent paint.

It's obviously an 'attitude thing' but it may surface if you FEEL binary and have to deal with e.g. Andro-folks.
Then in place of accepting to being confused by it all, you may ride the binary theme and so become 'holier than the pope (thou)' about your particular state of mind, i.e. '->-bleeped-<-r than thou'

What I meant being binary myself i.e. not Andro or gender bender, or what else not, can make one feel in one 'camp' (post-op in my case) and from there, from this position, or mind-set, having real difficulties in accepting other folks' mind-sets.

In defending one's own mind-set (e.g. the decision to have GCS) then may cause this '->-bleeped-<-r then thou' attitude.
I am definately not immune to this either, meaning that 'insight' alone is not necessarily the answer to being narrow-minded on some issues.

It means that someone who is trans thinks they are above certain people who are transitioning. The reasons as to why can vary, but usually are based off the person's past experience, how far they've gone in their transition (and how far they intend to go), and how well they pass. It's basically elitism, but in the trans-world as some would like to believe they currently are and or always will be "better than others", hence "->-bleeped-<-r than thou".

->-bleeped-<-r than thou =  crock of bull.

It is a tounge in cheeck-expression to describe the elitist attitude that not seldomly shows itself in the T-community, for instance when a Post-op goes; "Why would a T-woman want to keep her penis??", "Why would a T-man/a Cis-man want to have a Vagina?", "->-bleeped-<-s are just gay males", "Why would anyone want to be both genders?", "Why would anyone want to be neither gender?" and yada yada.

In short, usually, a term to describe the standpoint that Post-op transsexuals are the only "real" ones in the Community.

Meaning god forbid someone doesn't want srs and is proud of having a penis.... I've found that a lot of the older transitioners who did transition where the end product is SRS as opposed to the younger generation where the end product is passing/fitting in.

Compare Rene Richards to non op Candis Cayne. A generation separates them.

I mean a transsexual is a transsexual. Society views us all the same...whether we've had SRS or not.

If you mean am I more fashionable than someone....yes. But it hardly relates to their gender or sexuality. I identify more with gay men anyways.

Well for example a non-op could have transitioned very early and thus passes very easily and gets in a ->-bleeped-<--than-thou state of mind over those whom are not as attractive.

IMO, there is a misunderstanding going on.
Post srs people aren't ->-bleeped-<-s anymore, so they can't be ->-bleeped-<-r than thou.
After all, one didn't get srs to become a ->-bleeped-<-, right?

When it comes down to it, what's really being said is "valider than thou", whatever the context is. It's anyone saying "what I am or am doing is the most valid way of being/doing, so if you're not that then you're 2nd class."

True. There are several persons on this board that are Post-op, some since long, and that nonetheless do not identify as women but rather a "speciality of their own".

The reason I asked was it came up in my other post. I did not know who it was aimed at because I did not understand it. With all of this info I see that it was not aimed at me.
