I'm soooo happy! ;D

HRT is the BEST!

I hope you can see in the picture my new hair growing along my hairline. And this is only six months on HRT!

Hugs, Mrs. J :)

That's very exciting stuff! I don't have high hopes for my hair growing back as I don't even have one atom of peach fuss on my bald spots, but who knows.

And you know, while on the subject, I wish a doctor would hurry up and explain to me what is healthy about me having androgenic alopecia, rosacea, hyper-active oil glands, extremely dense facial hair, extreme craniofacial deformities, body odor, ect ect, as I certainly don't know what's healthy about it, nor why half the young men my age don't even experience these many negative traits. In fact, these traits are all signs that someone has a %30 higher chance of prostate cancer and heart disease, as the same hormone causes both, so I don't know why my doctors have never prescribed me a hormone plan to reduce my hormone levels, especially for my young age - I'll prolly have prostate cancer by age 40!

I've been suffering from all that over-production since age 11, ever single day - not once has my body hair stopped getting thicker, never has my hair stopped falling out, and never has my oily face quit pretending it's a waterfall. It sucks so badly, and it doesn't even make me feel energetic, I'm always tired and moody.

I'm soo sorry you're going through all of that!
But, please, don't loose hope! HRT can do wonders for you, too!
And I'll have you in my prayers.

Oh now you are going on again about your "extreme facial deformities". ::)
They are not extreme, and they are not deformities either. When I saw the pics of what you really looked like in that thread you pisted some time ago, ai rolled my eyes as I had envisioned you looking like that Andre the Giant you had examplyfied earlier on, only to find that you didn't by far. ::) For a birth assigned female, yes, they could be considered deformities, and I do understand that your Gender are that of a girl, but you got to remember that your SEX is Male, and for a Cis-male the features would within the normal range.

Still, I fully see your problem and fully understand them. You know, I think you should put everything you have and can bring up on an Orchi. That way, I can guarantee you that you will have a significant shift in the mental state of yours and find atleast a "version" of peace until you can afford to deal with the rest. And best of all, your body will not virilize any further even if you would not be able to change it ever. On the contrary, your body will De-masculinize to a considerable extent and your facial features will very likely change, too. To what extent, however, is fully individual from case to case, but the most important thing is that you will gain time and also will experience a reversal of atleast a degree of the virilisation your body have gone thrugh.

Regarding the Health of Testosterone... Well, for a Cis-male(And I know you are not so I am not talking about you here) a normal amount of  Testosterone is healthy, just as Estrogene is healthy for a Cis-female.
If you want to argue that Testosterone is bad for males because it leads to Prostate Cancer, then the very same thing can be said about Estrogene for females aswell, as Estrogene have accounted for millions of deaths in the Big C for females.
In short, it is incomparable. Plus, females have an amount of Testosterone naturally in their bodies too, although, ofcourse, it is drastically lesser than that of males.
Speaking of it, you will still have an amount of Testosterone in your body even after an Orchi, as a part of the Testposterone is produced by the Adrenal Glands, although it will be of a very low amount and you will need that small amount to stay healthy even as a girl.

Get your arse off whatever it sits on now.

The first time I entered the HRT forum this post greeted me.

I'm so happy for you! My hairline is starting to recede, though it's barely noticeable. I wish to prevent it and have results like yours!

This reminds me of that Simpsons episode "Simpsons and Delilah" when Homer drank something called Dimoxinil  ;D Believe me I know just how hard it is to express how happy you must be.
