I don't really know why, but I can say that I act *totally* different now around people I'm comfortable with... especially women. I keep saying it feels like being drunk, having no inhibitions and just not being so darn rigid and censored and artificial anymore.

Kate you know I only go guy mode outside and have never told anyone eye-to-eye however I do act a little different.  I was serving at an open table concession stand a couple of weeks ago and about 6 moms were surrounding me.  I was very bubbly and was part of the girl crowd. We were all laughing!  It was nice.

Kate and Wendy,

The best thing, for me, about finding Susan's place is that I don't feel like a freak anymore.

Kate - That feeling of drunkenness and being able to share more of myself, I had that a week ago when I told my favorite woman friend about myself. I could be the real me for the first time for her. And that was before we started in on the wine  ;)

Wendy - I host groups at my work and my favorite groups have always been the women's groups. They seem to accept me (even in guy mood) and I start feeling like I'm part of the club. I don't know if they notice that I'm a little lighter on my feet when they are here or not.  :o

Thank you both for sharing

Debbie
