I'm about to leave so I don't have time to google, but try visiting the local health department or queer center and asking there. Also, try to be patient. I know it's hard, but it sounds like you're very early in your process.

It's been 20 years of my life living stuck and living in pain so I dont think it's too soon, my friend.

Oh, no I don't think it's too soon for you. What I meant by that is that it's hard to figure out how to navigate this stuff at first, and it can be devastating to expect too much too soon. It took me awhile after getting to Portland before I figured out where to go and how to afford things and whatnot.

If you're a resident of San Francisco, you might be able to get low-cost T at the Tom Waddell clinic. You don't even have to call for an appointment, just show up between 2:00 and 4:00 on Tuesdays to signup. I don't know what the exact requirements are or how much it costs for residents. They told me it would be around $2,000 for all the dr visits and blood tests since I'm a non-resident, so I just left without asking any more questions. They did give me a list of other clinics in California, though. Here's the other listings for SF, maybe you'll be able to find some info there too:

Dimensions Clinic (ages 12-25)
(415) 934-7789

Lyon Martin Health Clinic
(415) 565-7667

Planned Parenthood
(415) 821-1282

St. James Infirmary
(415) 554-8494
