He is cute, but probably because you are in Japan and their notion of male attractiveness is different...
Here muscles, abs, and well defined arms is our notion of male attractiveness...
And there is nothing like feeling SAFE and SOUND in some hot man's strong, muscular arms. mmmm... makes me feel so femme
It is true that many men considered attractive in Japan would not be as such elsewhere, although most foreigners who live in Japan tend to prefer the more masculine types. Most men in dramas and TV shows aimed at teens and women in their 20s are not unlike the pictures I have posted in this thread, although the more macho type definitely exists as well, although they tend to be older, normally over 30. Before I came to Japan I questioned my sexuality because I was almost never attracted to men and tended to go for boyish looking lesbian women, but didn't get turned on at the prospect of seeing boobs or a c***!
Sometimes I can go for more masculine men (although not really macho) and it brings out my inner femme and I can feel safe and protected, perhaps even submissive, although with the prettier guys like the one I posted brings out my wilder side and I get the inexorable urge to jump on him and rip his clothes off, bringing out my dominant side, which some could label as a "masculine" urge to predate upon and 'capture' the creature of one's desire. However in either case, whether he's skinny or toned, a certain sweetness and gentle sensitivity in his aura and perfectly androgynous features (so not looking completely girly) are irresistably attractive to me. However this does mean I have fallen for my fair share of gay guys (of which a greater proportion are invariably more effeminate than hetero guys), although I haven't yet come across a "guy" who then ended up transitioning! With my taste, I'm in more danger than most of that happening to me!
