What kind of man do you want to look like?

Just out of curiosity and fun.
It doesn't matter what is realistically possible, this is just your dream image of yourself.

Would you like people to perceive you as a real masculine, hairy, tough guy?  Or a soft feminine guy?  Or anywhere in between?

This is just regarding appearance, what kind of a guy would you like people to see you as someday(if it's not possible today)?

For me, I actually someday want people to perceive me as a soft, feminine, almost gay guy.

I do think I am feminine.  and some people who know I'm trans have made comments to me like "That's not a very manly thing to do."  But I don't want to do things just because they're manly.   Being myself is being feminine.  and I want to be as feminine as I am.  but if I passed totally as male, people wouldn't make those comments to me.  they would just assume I was a gay guy.  And that's where I want to be.
I don't want people to think of me as manly.

I want people to see me as a masculine guy who is not terrified to death of coming off as feminine.

I would love to be really tall and look like one of those heros (or villians) in he action movies who are muscular like a gladiator.  I want to be the real masculine hairy tough guy.  I also really love the tough biker look.

Height of Stefen "Scyscrapper Struve"

Abs and muscles like George St. Pierre

Facial hair and head hair like Zakk Wylde

If I could revert back to looking like a young Ozzy, that'd be lovely.

Once upon a time, when I was about 80,000,000 lbs lighter, had ass-length hair and lived in outdated band shirts and camo pants, I was told constantly that I looked like a young Ozzy. That always made me happy as hell.

Oh, I'd cut my arm off to look like some of those J-rockers, or any number of skinny, jaw-boned goth singers, but if I could just pull off an early-Sabbath era Ozzy, even a paunchier one, I'll die a happy boy.

I think you could totally attain the young Ozzy once again!

For me, I'm happy looking androgynous. And of course the more people say I look like the guy on my icon, all the better heh ;) I'm not sure I'll ever give up skinny jeans. I mean I have regular jeans too but I love rockin' the skinny ones. I like looking a lot younger than I am (and if my parents are any indication, I'll always look younger than I am!) I love being mistaken for a rock star lol. I love boots and jackets and scarves and just wearing clothes that make me look good. I could give a f**k if they're mens or womens. Whatever ... they make me feel good and look good, so what.

I've also been working for a year now on building up exercising so I can have more of the body I want under the clothes. So far so good on that front and I feel more confident with myself.

So yeah, I think I'm doing alright now :)

Masculine and tough. I would never want to be feminine and weak. I don't understand why anyone would't want to be strong and tough. I'd be in trouble if I had a problem with body hair. I'm turning into a wookie. I just wish I was taller. I have been measuring a 1/2 inch taller for the last few days. Been stretching.

I want to be feminine and weak. Seriously. No need for mans man stuff here. I'm pretty femme in a  lot of ways and proud of it. I just dress like a regular guy, though.

kinda hairy but fashionable guy. thats what i want to be.(extra masculine face.)  neal caffrey or michael weston.

I want a good physique and plan to get tatts and more piercings.  I like the Goth look, not Emo.  I hate skinny jeans - just wanted to say that.  I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be attractive and keep my hair, but what will be will be.

Realistically I'll probably look like my brother, and he's got a rounder face, bigger eyes, etc. It was a little awkward in teen years but as he's matured he's gotten very handsome despite his softer features, so I have no problem with that.

Although you didn't say it directly, what you did say implies that a guy who doesn't fit the regular stereotype can't be strong and tough. That's the exact kind of thinking that perpetuates the stereotype ... that men have to be manly according to this, this and this and show zero feminine traits or else they're "weak", etc. You also managed to diss females in the same sentence because female = weak, which of course we should all know by this day and age that isn't true.

If that's the kind of guy you want to be, then no one can tell you no. I just wanted to point it out.

I find it interesting that there seems to be a lot of trans guys (not necessarily here) that basically want to go for 1000x macho thing. Is it because it's the furthest thing away from the actual reality you've had to live up until you start transition? Kind of like something that can just trump all the female physical stuff and traits and upbringing? Or is it simply a kind of odd perspective of looking at the "male world" from the outside in kind of thing?

When I daydream about myself with a cis-male body, I always see the rough tough yet intelligent and in control type.  Usually with a bit of stubble or scruffy beard and maybe wrinkled clothes, but a look in my eyes that says I know where my towel is and you probably shouldn't mess with me.  Think Dr. House or Tommy Lee Jones.
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
Why bounce around to the same damn song?

How many people have told you you look like  Gerard Way the lead singer of My Chemical Romance? Lol.  I hope that's a compliment to you.  I mean it as one.  but I know some people don't like that band.

I want to be strong and tough, just not physically, but more emotionally/mentally.  I want to be seen as feminine, but not weak.  just soft and caring.  but not delicate.
