So, I have not been able to get on the forum for the past week or so, but I wanted to share my happiness. I have come out to an old friend and her sweetie, and I have gotten nothing but acceptance. It's awesome. I have missed Susans, but they have made my vacation easier to deal with.

To all the folks around here, people can be accepting and kind. I know some of us have a hard time while going through transition, but there are people out there that can and do accept us unconditionally.

It's a good feeling for sure. I let two friends know the "real me" this past year and I was really very worried and nervous about telling them the truth about me, but they were both completely cool and accepting. It was nice.
