With the thread asking about more famous bands/artists with FTM's in them I decided to ask how many of us are musicians ourselves?

I play bass (duh)

I play guitar and I identify myself as a singer/songwriter.
As far as the instruments go, I have:
a burgundy wine Fender stratocaster
a twelve string acoustic-electric Dean guitar
an acoustic backpacker guitar by Martin
a Rogue sunburst mandolin


...and a few other things I can't remember the name of at the moment.
This is mainly because I don't fiddle...ahem... play with them enough.

I play the piano, and am a singer/songwriter. I just finished a musical I've been writing for a few years.

I also got a guitar for Christmas, and while I don't know how to play it yet, I'm looking forward to learning.

I play a whole bunch of things and in that sence I'm as much a (very) amateuristic musician as a collector.

I tend to be able to play everything a bit, but I'm not very good at any of them. Or well, I'm good enough to enjoy myself and a bit here and there for around the campfire but definately not good enough that it really would be worth anything to others.

So what would be on the list?
Drums (used to play a full set but now I only own a cajon), I do own a darbuka and a bodhran but can't really play either.
Didgeridoo, I haven't touched it in a long time but I can do the circulair breathing thing hah. With that, I have a tinwhistle lying around somewhere and my mom once got me a Susato Low D whistle because she liked the low sound better than the tinwhistle. I do know some rather nice tunes on it.

Then the strings, I started out with mandolin a few years back and that would be my main string officially, but these days I play guitar a lot more. I also bought a bouzouki earlier this year and I will build my own octave mandolin as my final project for school.

Can't really make a nice list with the makes because frankly, I wouldn't know from the top of my head.

I'm more of a band instrument person.

I started with clarinet in 5th grade but quit after a few months because the girly-girls in the section annoyed me too much.
7th-11th I played trumpet, which was perfect for me.  I fit in really well with the section.
12th I played tuba, which was also awesome.

I've also dabbled in piano and can peck out treble clef melodies on it easily, although I can't do the two hands thing.  I mostly taught myself how to play it in order to "figure out" songs that I could then play on my trumpet (I have a good ear, so instead of buying sheet music for song I liked, I'd get out my keyboard and play them by ear on that and then print out blank staff paper and write the notes in so I could go play it on my trumpet).

I have an electric guitar, but I haven't practiced much.

I'm usually a pretty quick study on instruments.  One time at a band function my friend let me play around with her flute.  I played with it for all of 5 minutes and in that time not only figure out how to make sound come out of it, but also figured out our school's entire fight song by ear and then had to run up to my band director to show her.  It was awesome.

I'm an actor and singer (Broadway musicals).  I'm a classically-trained vocalist and pianist and self-taught bassist.  I used to play violin and clarinet, but lost interest.  I'm hoping to revive my theatre career when I transition.

I'm older than all you guys, but I played in bands professionally for 25 years (gulp!). Bass and vocals. Had a few claims to fame--opened up for Aerosmith and Blue Oyster Cult back in my day! Did the on-the-road thing full time for years. Did recording sessions, videos, songwriting, you name it! Semi-retired from all that now due to hearing loss and just general burn out from gigging. It was FUN!! I wouldn't trade it for anything. Still play guitar, etc., sit in with friend's bands when the opportunity arises. I'm actually a music teacher now.

Another bassist here I also play ukulele, which I actually enjoy more. Been playing bass for almost six years now, but I still kinda suck. I really enjoy it though.

I mostly play bass, but I also play guitar a little.

Piano player here.
I find that, in my own world with headphones on, I can work through any and all problems on my keyboard.
It's what kept me going for so long. 

I don't know if this counts- but I am aware of a singer/songwriter by name of Eli Conley who just happens to be a trans man.

I'm a classical musician. I graduated from music college 18 months ago - I studied recorder (yep, really!) and bassoon. Sadly I got RSI so I haven't been able to play properly for ages, but I am slowly getting back into practising again, and also trying to teach myself the piano.
