Question for you ladies who use hot oil treatments for hair-

Which have you found better - using hot oil on DRY or WET hair then wrapping a shower cap with a hot towel over it?

I go to the stylist for it. Hot oil is not to be tampered with. However they have olive oil treatments at beauty salon stores.

I've only done oil treatments on dry hair. I wouldn't think it would penetrate well enough if your hair was wet.

Actually, when shampooing, hot water opens the pores in your hair. However, cold water will close them.

But you don't really want to do anything with the hair when wet because it's more fragile when wet.. the elasticity is gone.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.
