Does one need a script (In the United States) to acquire anti-androgens like Spiro?

I've heard conflicting information about this. If it is true, I was thinking that I could at least stop the damage while I'm waiting to get on track for HRT.

Yes you definitely need a script for all anti-androgens

Interesting.

Are their places in the world that don't require a script?

I've heard a lot of people mention it in passing, and most of them were on the up and up with getting letters etc.

well you can go to an informed consent clinic (there's some in cali and possibly other places in usa, and one in montreal where i am, from what i can remember, not sure about elsewhere), you basically sign a paper, they refer you to an endo, you get a script. no therapy needed. it just depends where you live though.

I think some people would still need therapy to be sure, but if you really know what you're doing i think everyone should be free to do what they want to their bodies, just under medical supervision.

Most of these drugs are quite toxic. You should be under the care of an endocrinologist. You can cause very severe liver damage very quickly when taking AA's or when swapping to HRT or to T. Just because XX girls and XY boys have certain levels of P/E or T does not mean that that levels is good for you. No matter what is posted from time to time.
Self medication is not good.
