I put the roll in so the paper comes over the top. How about you?

In this household there is only one proper way to put the roll in otherwise the hyper little terrorist fur ball will turn said TP into a fun filled cat toy with the entire roll pulled off and turn into confetti. So therefore to prevent the above from occurring one must put said TP so it rolls off the back.

Well, I used to work in hotel housekeeping and we were taught to mount the roll so the end would hang from the front.  The reasons we were given:  it is more hygenic as it keeps potentially soiled fingers away from the wall/dispenser (and keeps you away from where someone else might have touched with soiled fingers) and if you are using TP that is imprinted or quilted with an asymmetrical design (such as Santas or teddybears) the design will only display correctly if hung from the front.

That said, it makes sense to flip it if you have a cat and the dispenser has an exposed roll. Nobody wants TP all over the house every morning. 

(My own dispenser is a freestanding unit, so the whole question is kinda moot.)

OMG I am so anal about this! (no pun intended)

It has to be under, if someone puts it over I will change it. Even paper towells!

When we bother with the TP roller thing, it's "over."

Most of the time it's just sitting on the counter next to the potty. (Our roller thing is located in a very bad location, right next to--but slightly behind--one's right elbow.)

I'm curious...how many just crumple the paper and wipe, versus how many neatly fold it into a multi-layered square (which is what I do; less likely to find an opening if you don't crumple it)

In my house it goes over the top, but my house is feline free. Since I am the only one here it is always correct.
