Hello. I have a question that I can't answer and maybe someone on here can. I am a male to female transsexual in transition. My birthday is March so that means I need to renew my license in February. I am moving Feb 1st, so I planned to renew after I move. My hair has only four months of growth and when I am in girl mode I wear a wig that I bought.  I am currently undergoing facial hair removal and that should be complete either in April or May which is the time I planned to start transitioning outside of work.  I am lucky in that I already look a lot like my target gender except for the facial hair. So my question is this: Do I dress up and which includes wearing my wig and makeup when I renew my drivers license or do I wait until May or June when my hair is longer to change my picture then but that means that I have to pay the drivers license fee again just to change the picture after only 4 or 5months. I live in Minnesota, if that makes any difference. I have not changed my name yet, I have to wait for that.  I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks.

Warning! Do not listen to my advice! I have no respect for the law, I would drive with the expired license for the 4-5 months, then renew it. See? Horrible advice. Hugs, Devlyn
