Rock

Hey everyone.  I've been lurking here for a while so it's time to intrduce myself.  I'm 40, live in SA Australia, Ftm and soically challanged.  I started treatment when I was 21 with sustonen.  Had chest surgery at 25.  No bottom surgery yet.  For personal reasons I stopped hormones for about 6 years from age 32 until age 39.  2010 I started back on testostrone but this time Reandron.  I feel much more stable on the Reandron.  Sustonen seemed to send me on an up and down rollercoaster ride, but the reandron feels like I'm 'on the right meds' if that makes sense.  And the shots are every 10 - 14 weeks which is much easier than every 2 - 4.  So just passing through the end of my THIRD puberty haha.  This one has been the best.

I've been stealth since I was 23.  I've had no contact with fellow spirits in real life.  Would like to change that,  I don't like the term trans when refering to myself because this implies I've changed from something to another.  All i've done is change people's perception but the word trans gives rise to the thought/statement "Oh, you used to be a girl and you wanted to be a boy".  Though that may be true for some, it's not true for me but because of the medical definition, it's all I have to somewhat define myself.  This is as big an issue for me as it was having moobs.  I need to find a way to deal with that in myself.

I also have high functioning autism and I find this to be a bigger challenge due to not being able to read body language and facial expressions or navigate through social constructs effectively.

From reading through this board, I've come to terms with a lot of things about myself and also gained a better understanding of who I am.  Bought my fisrt packer ever since reading these boards.  I have the Peecock and it ROCKS!!  Always grabbing at it haha.  I want to tell everyone to feel my dick and watch me pee but we all know that wont go down to well.  Keep my excitement to myself as always.  Not here, WOOP WOOP WOOP!!  Not long after I got it, I was 'hanging out' free balling in my tracksuit pants and my mum came to visit.  EMBARRESSING!!!  I wanted (not that I would have) to say "Mum, mum, I've got a dick!! But my dick said it for me.

Even though I'm not too great at expressing my thoughts, I'm totally cool with any questions anyone wants to ask.  About the peecock, testostrone differences or whatever.

Hi Rock,

Welcome to Susan's. The best family on the web, or as Kelly has eluded to it, as the madhouse. I think she may be closer to the truth. After all, I'm an eternal optimist.

Has to be something in your water supply over there. We're all sane here in Sydney. It doesn't effect, effect, effect, effect us at all here.

Thanks for sharing a part of your life with us. I'm sure someone will benefit from it, knowing they are not isolated.

Enjoy your stay. I look forward to hearing more of you in time to come. In the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi Catherine.  Laughing out loud!  Thanks for the chuckle and the welcome!

Hey Kreuzfidel, good to meet a fellow Adelaide brother.

Hi Devlyn all the way over there!  You've got the most important aussie lingo perfected.  About the only American I know is fanny means bum :)

Congratulations on the work you've done, and welcome to Susan's.

You should totally learn more American slang. It's so fun, and so stupid. I love learning Australian slang.
