Padma

I just got the letter from the gender clinic I attend that lets me get my gender changed with official bodies and on official documents (I'm in the UK).

I've just been writing myself a checklist of people I have to get in touch with to get all this done, and it's pretty daunting. Where to start? And with the two most important documents (passport and driving licence) which have photos on them, I notice I'm reluctant to change them until I look better (or at least until I've had a couple of laser sessions) ::). Between them, they're going to cost me £100 to replace, and I only just did this last year when I changed my name. More fool me.

Okay, so this is really daunting, but it's also very exciting, it's another of those 'no going back' moments where I basically tell all of officialdom to stop calling me Mister. Eek! Woohoo...
