so lately ive been getting a bit more fat distribution from the hrt, sadly my body shape still looks like what i call a popsicle, big on top small on bottom.. I have pretty broad shoulders, medium sized breasts and big arms but i also have narrow hips, thin legs and thighs and a flat bum.... Is anyone else in the same boat, is there something i can do about this?

How long have you been on HRT?

One needs to be on HRT for a year, and more, to go through most of the physical changes. Girls report changes even after 4, 5 years of HRT. The process takes a long time for cis girls (puberty), it does for us, too.

I guess you need to just give it some time. As far as shoulder width goes, there's not much you can do about it. Most of it is just bones and some muscles, and the latter shrink when on HRT. And if you're muscular, start doing cardio workouts. It's a good way to lose muscle mass and get your body toned and in shape.

Your dosage may also have to be adjusted if the blood tests show high levels of testosterone and low levels of estrogen, prolactin, etc.

ByeBye

It takes some time for the fat to redistribute. When your body changes, it changes gradually, not all of a sudden. Be grateful for your medium sized breasts. The rest will come with time.

I had a nicer shape when I weighed more, but working again raised my activity level enough to burn off some fat, so of course, the first things that I lost were my butt and breasts.  I do have a really nice tummy though.   :)

Welcome to the real world of HRT! I've been on HRT for over 12 years and before I was on HRT my measurements were in better proportion. For a long time the HRT seems to have put on the fat to the upper body and my belly, rather than the lower body where I want it. It's a continued struggle to try and not have a larger upper body mass to the lower body. But lately I've more or less given up with trying and now I'm seeing a little improvement in the lower body but the belly getting bigger too.

I realise I've got to exercise a lot more than I used to in order to fight the fat belly. I never had a fat belly before I took HRT and I know the HRT is not working the way I thought it would.  My breast are hardly noticeable and my shape to me in the buff still looks male.  It's very frustrating, especially when you have been in transition as long as I have.

My testo levels have always been very low around 0.8 and my oestrogen levels quite high, so these kind of checks don't actually help and for many of us like me it's more to do with inherited genetics and how your body works and responds to HRT than anything else.
