Sandy Rawls is arguably the Matriarch of transgender rights in Baltimore. Sandy is the Executive Director of Trans-United.

Trans-United is an organization under Fusion Partnerships Inc. a grass-roots fiscal sponsor social justice non-profit organization in Baltimore City. They provide resources to the transgender community through community outreach, providing resources such as a GED tutoring program, housing assistance, and helping with medical needs.

"I just want to shed some light on Trans-United's position on what's going on now in the community and the problem with the city actually," Sandy said.
