...I've been through 2 years and 10 months of prison time for quite literally walking on the street dressed as a female in Norfolk, Virginia.

I lived in Norfolk,Va and I used to be a police officer. I find it difficult to believe you were convicted with a felony charge in the state of Virgina for dressing in the opposite sex.

Getting 2 years and 10 months would constitute 3rd degree felony related charges such as grand theft auto and burglary, assault and battery, DUI, theft, arson and drug possession.

People do not get felony charges for simply walking on the street dressed in girl clothes. You were probably committing a 3rd degree felony while in girl's clothes but they wouldn't charge and convict you for wearing girl's clothes.

Skeptical, what's the deal ? No bail ?( everybody let's just CALM DOWN! )I spent 4 days in a  Nassau County jail for attempting to defend myself against a crazy, lying psychotic female and, being no picnic to say the least, discovered it's mostly "nice people doing stupid things" that are "safe behind bars" .

NY is one of the few states that has a third gender "T" box on all their forms . . .

After over a year & 14 (sorry my bad 11 link deleted due personal info ) different "appearances" of steadfastly refusing to plead "guilty" on an alleged, no evidence, first offense minor third degree misdemeanor charge of verbal "threatening" (no weapons) was essentially railroaded, with arresting officers now clearly lying, into forfeiting BOND by skipping bail very last "day of hearing" . . .

Not sure which is worse - good 'ole Southern male chauvinists or NY Radfem Nazi's all ?!

( Check this out : the verbatim "REPORTING OFFICER NARRATIVE" didn't matter, was told "inadmissible" in court ? ? Yea Right ! Bottom line? I WAS TERRORIZED & think truly decent people in this country secretly DESPISE a lot of the "radical women attitudes" we are seeing today and they're certainly NOT gonna put up with any man who tries to masquerade as one . . . not meant as a judgment just a personal observation )

I'm not saying that people cannot get harassed for "Cross dressing" by the police.

What I was trying to say is that there HAD to be something else going on to be sentence for over 2 years. Basically, there is more to the story than Skeptical is telling us....I guess I am just being skeptical.

My cousin currently works for the Virginia Beach, VA PD and Ive been to their social gatherings quite a few times. While there is a few bad ones in any bunch, the Virginia Beach PD isn't a group of people giving people felony jail time just because they dressed as the opposite sex......at least in the last 25 years.

That's why I was saying there has to be more to the story.

IDK how they do things in Virginia, but in Louisiana I'm pretty sure it's the judge that sends you to prison for 2 years

Therefore, I find it pretty close to impossible to be thrown in prison for something that is... most likely not a felony.
